The camera vendors walked our sites yesterday and began their design plans for the purpose of providing a quote. They were guided by the ‘Wish List’ maps that were provided from previous assessments by Principals and Lead Maintenance. As discussed at our camera stakeholder meeting on 10/25/18, once we receive the quotes, modifications may need to be made to pair down first phase costs.
I have called references provided by the two companies and have received a decent amount of feedback. Both companies appear reputable, however there was more positive feedback in all of our priority areas in favor of World TeleCom. Staff feedback from the site visits also favored World TeleCom and that was across the district. In general World TeleCom asked pointed questions, made professional suggestions, appeared genuine and expressed an interest in our project.
